Ferhad Khalil Biography

Mr. Ferhad Khalil is a renown Kurdish artist and designer who has received acclaim for his masterpieces.  His artworks are recognized on an international basis not only due to his artistic prowess but also due to their humanitarian message. Most recently, he was featured in December 2017 on multiple media and news outlets for his daring humanitarian project, "Art Against War" in Raqqa, Syria.  There, in central Raqqa, surrounded by war torn buildings, he and the group of artists he'd organized painted amidst a war strewn battlefield.  It was regarded by many to be an innovative and bold statement of how art represents light and freedom's song.

السيد فرهاد خليل هو فنان ومصمم كردي شهير معروف بفنه. يتم التعرف على أعماله الفنية على أساس دولي ليس فقط بسبب كفاءته الفنية ولكن أيضا بسبب مسيرته الإنسانية. وفي الآونة الأخيرة ، في ديسمبر 2017 ، ظهر في وسائل إعلام متعددة ومنافذ إخبارية عن مشروعه الإنساني الجريء ، Art Against War ، في الرقة ، سوريا. هناك ، في وسط الحنان ، محاطا بمباني مزقتها الحرب ، قام هو ومجموعة الفنانين بتنظيمها في وسط ساحة معركة مليئة بالحروب. كثير من الناس يعتبرون بيانًا مبتكرًا وجريئًا حول كيفية تمثيل الفن بالضوء والحرية.
